Libertarian Michael Badnarik with 5% in NM

New Mexico: Kerry 50% Bush 43% Survey of 500 Likely Voters

August 4, 2004, New Mexico 2004

Presidential Ballot

Bush 43%
Kerry 50%
Badnarik 5%
Not Sure 2%
RasmussenReports.com

August 5, 2004--Rasmussen Reports finds John Kerry with a 7-point lead over George W. Bush among New Mexico voters. Our first Election 2004 survey in the state shows Kerry with 50% of the vote, Bush with 43%, and Libertarian Michael Badnarik with 5%. Ralph Nader is not on the ballot in New Mexico.

This moves New Mexico to the "Leans Kerry" column for our Electoral College projection. Four years ago, Gore won the state by less than 400 votes.

Among all adults, as opposed to Likely Voters, Kerry leads 48% to 43% for Bush with Badnarik still attracting 5% of the vote.

I'll tell you what, the story this election might be the fact that Michael Badnarik pulls enough votes away from Bush for Kerry to win. I can't see how anyone with libertarian leanings wouldn't be utterly appalled with some of the things Bush has done. He's in the process of creating a police state and trying to get the American people to accept it. The Libertarians almost always get on all 50 state ballots. The Ls are going to be the big story this year.

redfish. You said...." Nobody has come even close to making that assertion, which is why it is a strawman argument. Rather than address the point that Bush has failed to capture or kill Bin Laden, you created a new, and nonsensical argument that no democrats have advanced.".....

Huh? Say what? I asked a QUESTION????? This QUESTION...." "Do you believe a dead bin laden will end the islam terrorism through out the world?"......

There is NO argument. I asked a question and until someone chooses to give an answer or their opinion to my question it remains a QUESTION...do you understand.

Who said anything..other than yourself.... about democrats even being interested in the question I asked let alone advance the question themselves?

How exactly did I create a new an nonsensical argument?

Do you wish to argue the so called " nonsensical argument?

Would you be that nonsensical? :-)

And why exactly should I address the nonsensical point you brought up about Bush failing to kill or capture bin stupid.?
