I really can't believe that snic was wacked so bad here since when you get down to it the company has only changed slightly fundamentally, but there's not much of an indication that the trend is slowing: stockcharts.com[w,a]daclyyay[dc][pb50!b200][vc60][iUl14!Lb5]&pref=G The ADX trend line is still strong.... That there were shares available for shorting all this time is a total mystery to me (NOT). Am I stoned or are there over 1 million additional shares (DTC stock borrow?) according to the numbers on yahoo! So much for SHO 3370. There's a great need for the company to look into this to see if the DTC books add up at all. Keeping in mind that the MMs have 3 days to cover and that they can most likely file up to a months worth of extensions before raising any flags at the DTC then snic is going to languish in hell until very late Aug or very early Sept. If in the mean time there's a terrorist attack then the last year or so of progress this company has made is going to be snuffed out. I know, I know, I'm sure someone's going to come in with the old "it's the market stupid". It's markets just like this that allow the MMs to bend the rules and to out and out break the spirit of the rules and get away with it. On the other hand, since this short position imbalance has probably been going on for months now, what are the chances that a hedge fund is involved...... they can legally naked short as long as they have a fully hedged position. How long they can hold that position open is beyond me...... dvdw, I haven't owned snic as of yet, thank god, but I sure as hell plan to once the crooks get through chewing it up. I'm looking at the gaps from around a year ago...10.38 and somewhere around 8....
