One of the very hardest parts of that war was this, mike: Just commenting that even if we had were on differnt sides back then, we had the music, the marijuana and the love of freedom.

We had a war that the Democratic President JFK, then LBJ decided to send large amounts of US forces to, and a total Democratic House and Senate to aid that....Then the Government didn't support our forces. In the meantime, while our young men and women who did their country's bidding, we had other young men and women who, for whatever reason, were playing, screaming, smoking dope, having protests, and spitting on the young military when they came home after their help in the war.

And others like us, were either 4f'd, or having babies and caring for them....while our country was being torn apart.

It was a terrible and classic of the Takers and the Givers.

Some of these folks grew up. Some did not. Some are still taking, and some are still giving.

They know who they are each morning they look in the mirror.
