A decade ago I restarted Ship110, I was skipper for half that time and I got the 35' Gambara Perterson Open Ocean Racer donated. Developing youth with the coordinated skills to operate a world class racing sloop in competition is a wonderful and rewarding challenge. And the most rewarding was seeing poor inner city youth take pride in rising to the challenge. Currently Ship110 has four boats in the water. The current skipper Tom is taking the ship to new realms.
