It's all not very important except when the Bushies try to float the image of W being such a macho military dude..... When he joined the Guard, he had to check off a question as to whether he was willing to serve in combat... He chose not to......Kerry did and was decorated for it. I am absolutely amazed that the Bush team chooses to focus on the Kerry Vietnam record in this campaign....they can't win. The 9-11 melt down of Bush is far more serious.....

GW attacking Kerry's war record is like Pee Wee Herman attacking Hulk Hogan's wrestling record. All is does is start to remind folks that GW ran and hid when it was his turn to serve.
