Kerry keeps cutting his own throat.

WHAT KERRY DID [KJL] NRO

Listen, he wasn't president on Sept. 11, and I am not questioning his reflexes or reactions, but it is worth noting what Kerry did do on Sept. 11, 2001. Here's what he told Larry King:

"...And as I came in [to a meeting in Sen. Daschle's office], Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid were standing there, and we watched the second plane come in to the building. And we shortly thereafter sat down at the table and then we just realized nobody could think, and then boom, right behind us, we saw the cloud of explosion at the Pentagon..."

The numbers dont concern me--its the fact we are not being proactive in falujah and najaf for the most part or planning an exit at some point. Sitting around like this for more than 6 more years as UW implied in a post to me today is quite disturbing. I thought the lesson of vn is that you dont fight with one hand tied behind your back. Think we are in that mode now, at least until election is over. So during this period i would ask more or less what kerry asked in the congress hearings in 197?.. Who wants to be the soldier who is the last to die during a presidential campaign when the admin have decided to fudge what it might do after it wins reelection in order to secure that reelection. Imo This isnt conscious policy by bush, but it nevertheless seems to be whats going on now since the spring when we bailed in faluja and let that fat bastard al sadr escape. mike
