If Mr Pilch wants to define McCain a leftist, I have no problem with that. It proves that the Republican Party is all inclusive. But I really don't know if McCain is a bible thumping, gun toting, Nascar fan leftist or not. That does not matter the Republican Party is all inclusive.

Well, McCain is such a leftist that Kerry wanted him as a running mate. The GOP is all inclusive and I suspect if Bush loses in November it will be for this reason. As one faction of the GOP fights the political war, the McCain faction will be assaulting them in the press.
