In yesterday's WSJ the CEO of Toyoto, Cho, was quoted as saying car manufacturers who do not build hybrids will not be around in the future.

Now there's a guy who knows what business he's in.

I called the local Toyota a couple of weeks back and there is already a waiting list for the Highlander Hybrid, but its not too long yet. I wonder how much that $500 position (the deposit) will fetch on eBay in February when many SUVs have become garage ornaments?
