huge difference. biggest thing would to go through the car truck replacement cycle again to get there.

cnbc this morning had a wsj guy on who mentioned he buys his heating (oil) on budget and he just got a notice they doubled his monthly budget for this winter. (i think it was oil)

I guess in China if oil gets too expensive they'll just park the new car in the garage-if they have one (garage ornament?) and go back to the bicycle and bus. If only most Americans had that luxury, we trashed our trolley system ages ago.

You're right about conservation. Time to stop using the Excursion to pick up the Grande Latte.
