Jill: Thx for posting those articles links. I think the condos are not a good buy and that SFR are better if indeed we are nearing a top in RE values. Those prices seem way overpriced.

The immigrant articles shows the difficulty of them getting loans. Most lenders have strict lending qualifications.

During the early 90's in So Cal, there were a lot of immigrants but that did not help our RE prices then, as prices dropped about 30% from the peak in '89-'90, to the bottom in '95.

So I don't think that factor will help the macro-economic and fundamental factors for the RE mkt.

Cycles always occur...
