When you get guys like... oreilly, scarboro, buchanan all agreeing with the above analysis and decrying the ads you are in trouble.

I tried to explain it to you yesterday. You don't get it. After enduring Rather, Arnett, CNN and Time, these men could care less about the press. These Swift Boat Vets don't care two cents worth about the press.

All Vietnam Vets have been raked over the coals for years by the press. The only way you can hurt them with a newspaper now is to roll it up in a ball and shove it in their eye sockets.

You continue to search for deeper meanings like hate. You won't find it. The answer you seek is before your eyes.

This is all about Honor and Integrity.

Add that to the lousy jobs number this morning

This is potentially bad news for Bush, if it's the start of the dreaded double dip. I still think this is a blip and the real recession will hit with force in 2005, but the chances it's going to be early (and hurt Bush) increased this morning with the bad employment numbers and soaring oil prices.

It's ironic that right now Bush's reelection depends a lot on what the Russians and the Saudis will do. If they collectively decide to restrict oil supplies in the next few months (in spite of what they say publicly), Kerry becomes a very viable candidate.

PS. I wouldn't be surprised if Putin has decided that he prefers Kerry as US president. I can't explain otherwise his moves against Yukos and the potential of severe disruption of oil supplies in the next few months.
