I agree. A good jobs market may be important for consumer confidence, but it may be less of a confirmation of a strong economy than it was in the past.

HEHE,

Me capitulate nah.

Heck if things get cheaper - I'm set to do some buying.GG

Just an add to.

The Naz violated it prevous low yesterday.I always keep some buying power buried in high liquid stocks that I can bail out of quickly - just to shore up (reduce my margin)so I'm not emotional at a bottom.

Over the last year I've sold puts on Oracle - which gave me a low risk high liquid investment that hasn't done squat.

I've maintained my equity whils others have fallen a much higher percentage. So I lost pennies and snagged some SBSE which is down from 19ish.

These are all no debt high margin electronic component manufacturers.

They are all profitable - but need an economic recovery to get REALLY profitable.

If we don't have that -I'll low ball some more and wait till we get a runup.

I can be patient.

Mr Softee just turned green as the Dow is down 100 plus - some interesting cross currents.

Tech a safe haven - must have had too much coffee.GG

These great tech companies are almost like banks - If the lights are going to go out at least it will feel good knowing that it was your finger on the switch.GG

Hold with Confidence - in confusion there is opportunity.

Use these dips to position your portfolio into stocks you KNOW are leaders and solid.

If they get cheaper - buy more.

I always have the long term in mind - my future envisions a world with MANY more chips in it whether it is 04 - 05 - 06 it matters not.

WOW market has swung 40 points in 3 minutes.

This is RtS's volatility at work.

Bob

Edit:Amat just went positive - I'm beginning to wonder if this isn't a huge short trap??

Perfect set up for a reversal - blame it on reduced Oil which the Saud's are literally pouring into the market.

Shoot my SBSE just turned positive - this trade is going to work out great - Gulp
