If Kerry would only release his service records like President Bush did then this whole issue would be put to rest. We could find out the real truth and be done with it, but Kerry won't, and so we all will just have to read and hear eyewitness accounts. Are we just supposed to blindly and sheepishly believe Kerry and his comrades. Is this a HOW DARE YOU QUESTION MY SERVICE, I'VE TOLD YOU.....MY COMRADES HAVE TOLD YOU.....SO THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH....GET BACK TO WORK act? If it is, how disgusting is that? I don't know why anyone would be surprised that Kerry's record would be questioned.....that is a ridiculous supposition. I am not one bit surprised that anyone that does question his record....even the guys who participated in tight convoys and witnessed these and other incidents in VN....is threatened with law suit, but why is that? He is the one that reminded us all that he is a "war hero" and we want to hear the story including that which the Swift Boat Veterans have to tell. Kerry is going to a great deal of effort to stop this inquiry. The way he tells it, it is pretty cut and dried. Why not release his records and prove......as he and his supporters claim......that he is a hero? Why all the angst? And why must we constantly have to remind liberals that this is America, and Americans are entitled to think for themselves and should be able to speak their minds and ask questions without being threatened? The vets should be pushing hard to have those records released. (And let's see Terry's tax records while we are at it.) I was thinking yesterday that since the 60s the libs MO been to go after the youth vote. The colleges and Universities are full of lib professors, and then we hear recent announcements that there will be a concert tour by the extreme artistic left. I'm thinking that this concert tour is an act designed to extend their reach. Could it be that there is a growing trend on campus where students and parents are demanding more conservative classes, and that the cause is being threatened? One can hope. M
