True, there are many ways we could die. But, then why bother fighting a war on terrorism either? Aren't we suppossed to confront and try to solve problems as they arise? Global warming could be a much bigger killer than terrorism, even the Pentagon admitted that earlier this year.

One the things that strikes me as being odd about the "War on Terror" is that our risk of dying in a terrorist incident is far less than our risk of dying from other mundane causes of death like car accidents, fire, even weather related events. I guess it's the psychological aspect of not feeling safe that makes us want to confront terrorism with such vigor.
