i respect what Bush did when he was told about plane hitting twin towers. He was being covered by tv cameras and for the president to jump up and excuse himself in front of national tv could have cause more panic in the nation. it appeared he acted correctly, was updated on information that was just forming. confusion going on in the white house , congress and rest of nation what better time to contemplate steps , and appear to be balanced in front of the camera showing no panic or sudden disruption.
