My read on McCain is he is basically a decent man trying to maintain the high road. Unfortunately, he is hanging out with a less decent person (kerry) who is taking advantage of McCain yet again. Surely, MOST americans that see the ad will realize its merely a response to the comments KERRY HAS MADE and if others there disagree with him they have every right to speak their mind. Kerry was a dummy to even bring it up and frankly NO ONE should vote one way or the other over Kerry's Vietnam experience as it has ABSOLUTELY NO BEARING on his ability to be President. We SHOULD be looking at his RECORD but as you know, the AVERAGE American who has neither the time nor the ability to find it on the INTERNET isnt learning anything about it as Kerry is keeping it a secret BEST HE CAN. jdn
