sylvestor is as wacky as some of the rightwingers.
I'm a centrist-progressive-moderate who wants only honest centrist leadership in this country, people who can work together. McCain and Kerry would be perfect. See how they care about each other despite party differences? They have worked together many tiems before and can again if we're smart enough to elect Kerry and make McCain the new GOP leader.

I have never seen such a polarizing campaign or one where the 'truth' is so out of reach on these "discussion" threads.
Amen. Worst I've ever seen. I think it started with Clinton. Some of his and Hillary's views really POed the right. Then, when he was proven a perjurer, the Dems stood by him, further fueling the rage. This led to the "win or die" 2000 election fiasco, which got the Dems fighting mad. There was hope for unity following 911, but that was squandered with the Iraq war, which further enraged the left.
