A Return to Childhood: The new immaturity.

``Had I been reading to children and had my top aide whisper in my ear that America is under attack, I would have told those kids very nicely and politely that the president of the United States has something that he needed to attend to,'' Kerry said. ``And I would have attended to it.''

...and then Kerry would dashed out of the classroom, worn his silk underwear outside his pants and ask France, Russia and Germany if we could, pretty please, defend ourselves if we share the decision-making with them.

I think this kind of desperate and petty comment suggests that even one as self-absorbed as Kerry -- 4 months in country and he still found time to shoot 8mm footage of his exploits? -- is starting to realize that he is going to be the most spectacular presidential loser in history.

And just like Gray Davis in California who kept on getting his cues from the exhaustive polls of a clueless hometown paper (which predicted a closer race), he will keep on getting his cues from the liberal media right to the very end.

Perfect. Just perfect!

A brilliant essay - which does nothing to obscure the fact that George Bush started a war against a nation that had been subject to a decade of economic sanctions, overrun with UN weapons inspectors, had no air force, no navy, an undertrained, demoralized, and corrupt army and couldn't even fly in 2/3 of it's own airspace. This nation was a threat worth at last count, $200 billion, 1,000 American lives and 4,000 seriously injured soldiers.

Meanwhile Osama bin Laden, who killed nearly 3,000 of us, plots his next attack. Iran, with enough oil reserves to last decades, continues it's nuclear program - with 160,000 American troops next door. North Korea says it has nuclear weapons and we do nothing.

It's immature not to follow this? Count me as one of the unwashed, immature fools who will vline up to vote Bush out...
