high pay union scale jobs

Such jobs only exist if there is a demand for them. Who is going to fork over high pay because of union intimadation when they can get the same job completed to the same specifications by a non union person, overseas, or by immigrants?

I also want to add that its anti-American capitalism to require that low bidders be artificially removed from the supply/demand equation, e.g. people willing to work for lower wages should not be allowed to work for lower wages or even be allowed to offer to work for lower wages.

Have a little sympathy for the domestic enemy. They are all going job hunting November 3. And if they can't keep their identity secret, they will find none...

Kerry didnt show up to vote to extend federal unemployment benefits, it failed by one vote. Shows how much he really cares.
