Hey Scott. How many bigassed SUV's will be selling when we're paying $4.00 a gallon? How many at $5.00 a gallon?
My nephew lives in England where gas is about $5.70/gal. He has a great job, but he and his gal drive one of those little cars. He gets about 45-48 miles per gallon.
It seems that Bush's strategy of giving us lower gas prices for the election is falling down the bunny hole.
As another afront to Bush's strategerie the jobs report today is driving the markets to lows similar to the tech. bubble burst.

scott-

apparently the united states holds
less than 3% of the world's oil reserves
but uses the most.

i should get techguerrilla to check my math
but according to my calculations, the u.s.
produces just under 11% of the world's oil
supply daily, and consumes over 26%. japan
is the next highest daily consumer at over 7%.
