The boats traveled in packs. As far as the other vets, if they weren't a swift boater they had no idea of what Kerry was doing.

Mike, Those vets that are speaking out against Kerry's record, were in close enough proximity to see what went on during the actions being used by Kerry as heroic events. Swift Boats ran in packs to be able to protect each other. That would mean not very many yards apart, and the Navy is good about issuing binoculars to their people. They know what they saw. Otherwise, why are there so many against the claims of Kerry, and a paltry few in support?
