re: No way Jose... Bush like the current tax system, that was part of his platform in 2000. Read between the lines. Tax cuts first term, tax "reform" second term, the Reagan model. He'll push for flat or some variation of VAT. His rich buddies hate the IRS and would love to see it gone. The sacred cow of mortgage interest deduction stands in their way. It's on the agenda, we'll see if it appears in the platform (probably not... don't want to make waves before the election). John
