Chris, I was reporting what I know: that Kerry used the word at the time. That he's since said it was a word he regretted using. I'm probably older than you. I had contemporaries who fought in that war. Of those who returned, every one of them who saw combat have told me they did things that they never thought they were capable of. One, a medic in the war and now a well-known poet, is the most antiwar person I know. Most are anti war, but he's devoted his writing life and career to documenting his experiences. So don't lecture me, okay?
