In the past few days, we have seen a spurt in announcements on (there you go again Bush) imminent security threats and attacks on the US. That Iraq was and continues to be a big failure and mistake for Bush is borne by the fact that these revelations should hace come out during the Afghan war. If Bush kept up the prssure on Pakistan then, he would have rounded up the Al Qaeda by now. But instead, he turned his attention to enrich the pockets of his oil buddies and wnet into Iraq. Now that he is out of Iraq and turned his attention to the real terror war, he has started to produce results.

So the questions remains in people's mind why did he waste yes waste Americna lives and money for his own personal gains in Iraq.

Iraq was not a war that benefitted us. Iraq is a mistake for which Bush has to pay. We will do fine with Kerry.

Mephisto, I've believed from the start that national security would be the prime issue that determines the outcome in Nov. We need to keep Bush in place because he will not be manipulated by UN/France/Germany. Kerry's shaky voting record demonstrates his fear of making firm decisions. His recently proposed "diplomatic" tactics with terrorists would spell disaster for Americans.
