I read Kerry's entire 1971 Senate speech, and have posted it on SI. You can look it up.

In my view, he caused the murder of many more of our soldiers in the 5 years until the war finally closed, and most probably was the direct cause of causing many of our POW's to die, be maimed, or emotionally damaged because of his anti-war support.
