DMA, I hope it 's not true also, but let's face the fact. The mechanism that has ruled this nation, had been out of whack for many decades. Still, it is the best one on the planet. That's scary!

If what they are saying is true, and one of the major parties chose an utter fraud to be their candidate, it is a major embarrassment for the whole country. I think it's true, all right. An "anti-war" officer goes "in-country" for four months and comes out with five medals. And goes even more anti-war when he gets out. It never has sounded right. I think the "1971 Kansas City" incident is even worse, but it didn't make the mainstream radar. The officers involved were not "right wing extremists" who did this out of spite. I think they are very reluctant to do this, but saw no other choice. I have no idea how this will play out. One thing for certain, the Kerry folk are desperate about it.
