Tucker Carlson interview Paul Krugman.

It comes on here in 30 minutes. I will give it a peek. Krugman is awful on TV. If Gore had been Prez, would the liberals have reacted differently? Not much I think They are mainly into "America is wrong."

Let me explain why there is so much hatred of Bush. It stems from the availablity of news and information on the internet. This information available now allows all to challenge the liberals. They do not like it. In the old days the news was censored by the liberal establishment press. Network news, NY Times, Washington Post etc.The truth is that liberalism is intellectually dishonest. Liberals can not win an agrument based on reality or the truth or the real world or the facts. Their ideas don't hold water. Before they went unchallenged. Now with Limbaugh, internet news etc the truth is widely desiminated and available. Now the liberals are challenged with facts and truth. They are frustrated, resentful. They have turned to childish emotions, hate. The hate for the "right" stems from the humiliation they suffer when ever they are engaged in debate. They resort to hate and emotion, dirty tricks, lies, deceit and intimination because they can not win intellectually.

Another aspect is 40% of the population is dependent on the government for their "check". These are state, local or federal government workers, or spouses, or union members, teachers, lawyers, police, fire, seniors, people on welfare etc or government contractors. The democrats have suceeded in creating a government special interest class and they have succeeded in planting the idea that only the democrats can protect them. They claim the republicans will take from them. This fire of fear is fanned by our tax system. Half the people and 90% of democrats don't pay federal income taxes. The liberals have succeeded in making those who DO NOT pay taxes to feel left out when people who do pay taxes get relief. This foster more hate and resentment.

John

PS Bush is a good and decent man who will be judged by historians as one of our greatest presidents. We should do all we can to support him.

Tucker Carlson is a lightweight. I don't understand why anyone would care to watch him.

Nadine, does it seem to you to be "quieter" in Israel and Palestine for several weeks? It does to me, and I'm wondering if the lack of funds from Saddam might have something to do with that?
