There are a few left up there in Humbolt Co. Berkeley has a few sitting out on University Ave. They look like they have been sitting under a rock since 1963 and just crawled out..............clothes and all are right out of the past.

Real liberals believe in socialism and are usually pacifists. There are not many true liberals around. Maybe about 10-15% of the country concentrated in certain pockets like Vermont and Eugene Oregon. BTW, by socialism I don't mean communism, I mean European style socialism which for a huge amount of people in the world is the best way to live. Socialism is by no means evil. After 9-11, the rightwing called pacifists "evil" even if they were clergymen. Actually both sides were wrong. Another reason we need strong honest centrist leadership in this country. Extremists and polarization make me sick. Both have really paralyzed this country. If we can unite we can accomplish all sorts of things, like energy independence from the Arabs in 20 years. How about that for a goal we can all agree on? We can be strong militarily too but we don't need to beome a neo-imperialist power. That will backfire. In fact it already has with Iraq.
