With the economy now going back down, Bush has only one issue left to run on, fighting terrorism. Put yourself in Karl Rove's shoes now and think of the Bush strategy for the next 90 days. More terrorist warnings. More violence. Scare tactics. Avoiding the issues. Parading around Bush with Guliani now that McCain has chastised the administration for dirty political ads. Hoping he can exploit memories of 9-11 to help Busyh instead of hurt him. 9-11 being a double edged sword because of happened on Bush's watch despite many warnings, but he did make a charismatic leader when we were all united after 9-11, for a month or two anyway before he became the great divider.
