I think that was the Greenspan/Bush plan all along. Limp/pump along until we're in the clear rather than repeat the 1930's. I doubt they will get away with it. By pumping they've created even more dangerous bubbles as nothing operates in a vacuum.

Interesting that they don't...or at least they haven't been successful. Maybe they don't want to alienate their arab brothers...OTOH, it's said there already a $10 terror premium per barrel now.
