If you have access, go back and view the Cheney/Lieberman debate in 2000.

Everyone thought that Lieberman would massacre Cheney. The opposite happened. Cheney came across as a humorous, friendly, sort of grandaddy figure, who also happened to possess a vast storehouse of knowledge about government and how it works.

Lieberman was never the same after that encounter. I predict that glib John will suffer a similar fate.

The war on Terror will never be over. So get ready to live in a constant state of war and terror.

1984

Unless of course we use our heads. Considering who we've got as a leader I don't have much doubt that this war on terror will last as long as any of us live.

Ann, New Time poll today shows terrorism is second to the economy in importance to voters. The economy trumps terrorism.
