I would rather label my approach as that of a 'quantitative strategist' rather than a 'technical analyst,' although I suppose some people lump them both together. My SI profile may provide a few further clues as to my approach to the market

You may also want to keep in mind that I run assessments in depth after each day's market activities, so both theoretically and practically, any assessment may change in the light of new information. Nevertheless I have repeatedly found that the assessments are to be disregarded at one's peril on the downside and in terms of missed opportunities on the upside. This of course contrasts with always being right!

My sense of BRKS/ASYT is that BRKS is 3 times more likely to go up than ASYT; that ASYT is almost 50% more likely to decline than BRKS; that ASYT is likely to decline another 10% from Friday's close of 4.42 to at least 3.98 in coming days and weeks; that the chances of either of these stocks going up much in coming days is small

So if I were an interested buyer I would prefer to wait to buy at lower prices and would rather risk missing a move than jumping in at this point. Barring a change in assessment I would prefer BRKS

You can't know whether you will be right but over the long term you can't make money fighting the odds
