Steven your perception of Google is real:

Google revealed in its IPO docs that 96% of its revenues comes from ads.

it has really gotten worse. what is more, some good evidence that they are manipulating news leads although circumstantial as subject to outside forces. i used to love them. i no longer trust them.

Paranoid, aren't we? (including the 2 other replies so far)

AFA i can tell, google searches are objective. Paid ad's are displayed distinctly (on the top and the right).

Folks keep trying to game their pagerank methodology, but google keeps updating it's ante every so often.

How many page views does metacrawler get?

And finally, while i love google (as does much of the world), their proposed valuation is obscene (comparable to Yahoo and eBay).
