probably the biggest purchase will be MSFT stock. and of course 15% for taxes. other funds will leave the market entirely, or go into other sectors. so maybe $2-5 billion or so gets spread around the Dung.

I disagree strongly.
That is a ONE time dividend.
MSFT stock will drop immediately after that dividen is paid out. What will be left is a company with a ton less cash on its books, declining or stable revenues, and under attack from linux with not as much cash left to buy out the opposition.
