I saw Farenheit 9/11 and if it were just rhetoric I would have had a problem however it consisted of actual photos of the president. Also of a business meeting where business opportunities in Iraq were being discussed. I thought for the most part it was well documented. Having read every review that I could find I do believe there were distortions however and inaccuracies. For the most part I found it enlightening.

However, I turn on the radio every day here and hear one distortion after another. A piece of truth is expanded or changed to favor Bush and Company... AND what Neil Borsch said about bumper stickers and how it was inconceivable that anyone could even put one on for Edwards and Kerry I found that nasty. It was almost threatening. I will admit that I am scared to put on one. I do not invite trouble. And it is sad in a Free Country that one has to feel this way. I am in a religious Bible Belt right now where there is no room for anyone who is NOT for Bush.

I find intimidation, innuendo that reflects intimidation and scurrilous attacks on untruths is unbearable to me. This campaign that has been run by both sides has been the most malicious that I have ever experienced. There is no inbetween. It is me against you and no middle ground.. This is scary and down right discouraging. I personally am getting to a point that it is exhausting to read these threads and see how vicious some can be against anyone disagreeing...with their opinion. I would like to see sharing of ideas and SOME HUMOR. After all we can all be Americans and love this Country and all think we are doing the best for it by having an opinion and sharing it. I know where I stand and I know where you stand and it doesn't make me dislike you. I read what you post and take everything under consideration.

Making another person look bad when it is unjustified... like Kerry's war record, is unfair. He served his Country. He was wounded. What he did or didn't do should have been bought out BEFORE THIS CAMPAIGN. I fear it is a smear tactic and don't believe it because is has become a political football.

AMEN.. Boy I do rant on sometimes. Sorry.
