Chris I perceive that all who advocate John Kerry on this thread have nothing selfishly to gain by it.

I've been apathetic in many elections.
The last Presidential election that moved my heart was Bill Clinton's. Prior to that it was John F. Kennedy, and I was too young to vote in that one.
All in between are forgotten heart-wise.

We few here, those that know John Kerry to be the best man, should be very proud of ourselves. Nobody pays us to spend our time here, we do it because it is the right thing to do. I like myself more for it, and you do also.

For any who have ulterior motives, or post out of spite or greed, they should feel ashamed of themselves.

We agree, and that is why Kerry should address what these other Veterans have said. They are saying he lied about his conduct and the conduct of others who served.

These Veterans want to know why he said what he said, while others in the same group are saying his lying.

They were there, they know. If you watched the convention you would know that Kerry has clearly made his record in Vietnam and afterwards as part of his personal platform.

His peers are asking him to respond, and I think those Veterans deserve a response.
