Oh come on. That is total BS and you know it.

Kerry a flipper? What about Bush? He's flip-flopped constantly over the past few months to try and copy Kerry's Iraq policy and get in the international community. Unfortunately, he's so unpopular overseas he can't get the commitments we need. But Kerry can.

The Shark? Who, Edwards? Hey, Edwards is a brilliant, honest man of the people. What's wrong with Edwards? He's very honest, ethical, smart, centrist and hardworking.

Higher taxes? Nope. That's a lie unless you make over 200 K then you simply go back to Clinton taxes. Just to begin paying off the Bush deficits and fully fund some critical programs which have been left underfunded. Nobody likes taxes but under Clinton we had the most robust economy ever. You cannot keep running a government in the red, and trickle down simply does not work. Why let the very rich off so easily? This country has serious bills to pay, especially during war.

New trade barriers? We have to stop the out-sourcing. Kerry offers incentives to keep jobs in the country and punishes those who out-source. Any trade barriers will be very common sense and we will be able to negotiate better environmental standrds around the world. So you pay ten cents more at Walmart, you get more US jobs and a better world.

Socialist health care? Our current health care system is a disaster. And we all pay even more when the drug companies and HMO's are controlling the GOP policy-makers so they can gouge us. Much of the cost of health care can be cut. Also, we are the only developed country in the world without public health care. We need it, but only as we can afford it. Bush's gross deficits mean more health care spending won't be possible. We will have to pay as we go and figure out ways to economize.

French foreign policy guidance? Oh come on, that is just pure cocky-poop. Blaming the French foir Bush's reckless campaign to invade Iraq doesn't cut it. The French aren't perfect allies, but we shouldn't be trying to blame them for our own mistakes. Bush blew it with the French and other allies. They would have done anything for us after 9-11 and did, but then Bush crashed the party like a bull in a china shop, insulted the world and said "my way or the highway", telling lots of lies as he went BTW.

Kerry will vastly improve our foreign policy and as a result make defense of our country better and cheaper. Right now we are bearing too much of the cost and brunt alone in parts of the world where we cannot win alone. We need help. Bush seems to work more for Halliburton and Exxon than the American people or troops. Time for new leadership to bring the world back together. Bush has failed on that score completely.

but drooling over old women

O.K. so you drool over older men. That's just hunky dory with me. Live and let live. Glad we've established that. It's off the table.

When Wayne does you in the bumm just say howdy eh?

Higher taxes, new trade barriers, socialist health care, and looking to the French for foreign policy guidance.

These are things you said as the issues and let us keep to the issues. Please take your personal matters in PM's.

I have to choose between Bush who holds out promise to bring back the draft and send our young men and women to war instead of the young folks from other countries, Why is Bush promising to take the easy way out, use the power of the Presidency to edict our youngsters to death and refuse instead to work with the other nations to ask them to par their share by way of personnel.

The same goes with the money to fund the war. Do you think that Bush is correct in giving those tax breaks to the rich and running up those huge deficits. The 87 billion that Kerry talks about could have been funded from repealing the tax breaks and from other countries such as Germany, France, China etc. The fiscal turmoil has put the economy in a mess, the war in Iraq which is a mistaken war anyway, is going nowhere. Now tell me why I should vote for Bush.

Remember, I asked you a question, in light of the above, convince me why I should vote for Bush. I will monitor your post for an answer for this. As your thread host, I hope you will grant me to hold you to you how you participate here. So I have raised a question and let me expect an answer from you. Otherwise you are free to leave.
