I saw a video clip on TV where Elliot appeared with Kerry in 1996 when Kerry was running for his Senate seat, and he had nothing but good things to say then about Lt. Kerry's service under his command. It's a slimy bunch of lies these guys are spouting now - the Bushies are desperate. They obviously got to Elliot somehow.

I've also read that he denied saying it was a mistake. I read 5 or 6 fitness reports written by Elliot and every one of them gave Kerry a glowing endorsement. You're a fool because you don't know how to read a Navy FITREP. You failed to look at the grades which get all the weight not the text. I know, I was an officer in the US Navy. Kerry got poor grades and they are all fully documented in .pdf for anybody to see. We are talking C grades and D grades and LOTS of them.
