Lindy,

re: Yep. The Republicans are making lots of noises about being better organized, but TWT. If it was just beating the Dems, it would be easy. But ya gotta beat the dems and the media. If someone is door knocking, and wants to stop, they gotta remember that the next guy they are missing is probably setting there watching Dan Rather badmouth his country.

That's not the way it works.

By election day, the Dems and Reps will have knocked on virtually every door in their precinct. Assuming it's a Rep, they will put down a + by the name if they say they are going to vote Bush; a 0 if they are undecided; a minus if they are going to vote Kerry.

On Nov 2, the Reps will be trying to drag their +'s to the polls; the Dems will be trying to drag their +'s to the polls. With only a 3% to 7% wiggle, every vote counts, every worker bee counts big time.

This is real old time politics, Chicago style. Forget Iraq, forget the economy. This is about organization and getting out the vote. Reps win in some states, Dems in others wrt organization. It will all come down to who wants it more.
