It could be argued that there is a very large Dem group that hates Bush more than any previous Pres.

Yep, he is playing that constituency for all it's worth.

It will be interesting. OH, FL, many smaller states if those split. But stuff could happen in the meantime that could swing things. If there was a terrorist attack, I'm still not sure which candidate that would benefit.

(BTW, I wish there was a thread on SI that was at least just slightly non-partisan, that talked about the election from a arms length distance. I think that's what you intended here.)
