Nixon didn't drag the war out. That was LBJs big war. Nixon was cutting it back and attempting to force negotiation with some bombing. Hope old are you Buddy? I remember those days very well. Had a special interest.

You remember the Paris Peace talks ?

I saw in the Sunday paper that a new recording of Nixon has just been released, in it he is discussing how to get the troops out, his concern is over the near election, not the troops.
