Michael Moore implied that the pipeline was one of the reasons

Thank you. I appreciate the honest admission.

Now do you think Moore was correct and that the Unocal pipeline was indeed "one of the reasons" for the US going into Afghanistan? Or do you think Moore was being dishonest by presenting the Unocal pipeline as "one of the reasons"?

BTW:
During the mid-1990s, Unocal had pursued a possible natural gas pipeline from Turkmenistan's Dauletabad-Donmez gas basin via Afghanistan to Pakistan, but pulled out after the U.S. missile strikes against Afghanistan in August 1998. www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/cabs/afghan.html
