Where else can non-trained folk net $900/week? In my case husband has a union job, pension benefits and health care. You make a valid point about health care and retirement for single people. But those who do this work may view it as temporary and there is always the safety net--medicaid for health care. $900 per week certainly beats the burger flipping alternative even if there are some benefits for the $8/hour jobs. mike
