I doubt it would pass or be enforceable... the argument would be around the hands-free features of a speaker phone and microphone combo... the hard reality about 'speeding' is a combination of superb engineering that allows you to drive cars safe at 90 plus mph with the fact that the licensing requirements are laughable... Anti-skid brakes. Slide-assist power management (anti-slide while cornering) Launch control (avoid wheel spin on powering out in wet roads) Disc brakes that allow you to stop the car on a dime Over-size anti-roll bars (to limit excessive weight transfer while cornering, giving you superb stability and handling) Rubber compounds and thread designs that almost eliminate the risk of sliding on water puddles and the list goes on and on.... therefore, machines that require some training and basic skill to be handled properly, are put in the hands of people who really have no idea what these machines are capabe of; then on top of that the drinking-driving penalties are another joke... and all these REAL inefficiencies (by the buraucrats), are easily masked by the war cry of the fear mongers...."SPEED KILLS" WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it is a mask to what it really happens, which is... a great revenue generator for cities/towns/counties... AND.... the insurance companies love it as they have the perfect excuse to raise premiums without a reasonable cause. Because speeding... in the majority of cases, do not even cause accidents... Cops, who are in need of a diet because they eat too many doughnuts anyway... just sit there as revenue collectors, instead of doing real police work, i.e. go catch te drug dealers and such other criminals... or at the very least, they ought to offer the basic training in order to learn how to handle cars safey at higher speeds... And once again... by higher speeds I mean interstate highways and other minor highways... I do not have a problem with speed limits inside towns/cities... although 25 mph does sound a little for retards... -g all this because of the banner that... 'speed kills' what a farce.
