17 UN Resolutions doesn't exactly seem too much like RUSHING to me.

Didn't Bush see that 17 times before, the UN said that there were no weapons or that it did not need a militay invasion. Former US Presidents like Bush Sr. and Clinton agreed with those resolutions. And this Bush comes in a negates that and foolishly proclaims that they had a role to play in the WTC attacks.

And I do not understand what basis you have to tout that when the UN 17 times said no, we now know there were no WMd etc. etc. American people have made up their minds and the polls for an incumbent says it all.

<If you want an eye opener as to what was known, and not acted upon during the 1990's, read the fiction thriller novels by Vince Flynn. His books are about the terrorist menace and Saddam's involvement in most of it....the first 5 books (of 6) written before 9-11!!!! He is uncanny, especially when one considers what we knew and ignored before 9-11. >

Sounds like YOU'RE the one into conspiracy theories. I suggest you read the 9/11 Commission report on the cooperation between Saddam and the terrorists - it didn't exist! The war in Iraq has no connection to the war on terrorism. We brought terrorist to Iraq by putting Americans for them to kill there - before that, they weren't there. The terrorists killing our soldiers in Iraq are just low budget hobbyists on car trip holiday. The serious terrorists still threaten us here.
