Jims. U are right to sick to your own work. If we have a

thread motto, I suppose that's it. And a hard one to beat, IMO. No party line here, thank goodness.

Agree with this also:

<that might be so gradual we (at least I) won't see it until its some ways along.>

Would add that IMHO the trend which will most likely pace slowing Asian Tsy Bond purchases is a distinctly slower trend of US consumer borrowing and buying.

That's what we need to watch. So survey's of consumer confidence become all the more important as a leading indicator.

Don't see the HUI building on Gold's one dollar gain..

Slight decline for the index as Gold raps up trading...probably see it dribble on down, now...

This chart still doesn't look good..hence my meager portfolio weighting...

It will not surprise me to see the metals actually lead the shares on any rally forward....Investors are so skeptical of miners, and for good reason, including the fact that most buyers this year are carrying losses, that I think they are going to need alot of convincing before coming back in in any meaningful way...The fact that NEM is performing relatively well suggests to me that big money is a more ready to buy than the public.

NEM won't be holding below 39..

178.74 by the way will be a further negative print on the HUI, wile 187.86 is needed in my opinion to flash "green."
