Sabato is just some dumb chump telling the rednecks what they want to hear...clever stuff like this... Sabato called Kerry a cross between a funeral director and Lurch, the stiff butler on the old TV comedy "The Addams Family." I think he is dead wrong when he says Iraq is the only issue. The bumbling incompetence of Bush and the clowns surrounding him on the Iraq war is certainly a major issue but hardly the only issue. How about... Worst jobs growth in a presidential term since the Depression Worst stock market performance in a presidential term since the Depression All-time high budget deficits All-time high trade deficits Record levels of household debt Rock-bottom household savings rates Record levels of income inequality Sky-high energy prices Increasing inflation Can anyone think of a single good thing that has happened in this country since Election day 2000? We started with a wonderful display of "Democracy in Action" in Florida and have gone downhill from there. I didn't think that was possible but this crowd pulled it off.
