Dan, If not for options, these guys would all have decided to become shelf stockers at WalMart instead of developing new technologies.

Without options, Sanders would have quit AMD a long time ago, given that his compensation would have resulted in extraordinarily high expenses on the balance sheet.

Oh, wait a minute, maybe that would have been a good thing for AMD ... ;-)
