Rats are good
or
Way less demanding than a parrot

I think parrots are very interesting. But they're a lifetime commitment, and they require an enormous amount of attention. I know that if I had one, he or she would make critical comments about my clothes and makeup and boyfriends, and that is NOT what most of us want from a pet.

Rabbits are weird. They can be absolutely adorable, but apparently they can be territorial, and produce a really amazing amount of shit.

Also, if you don't get the males fixed, they'll hump absolutely ANYTHING. They terrorize cats, dogs, and whatever else they can find.
