Addicts are horrified because they had no problem paying more for uncontrolled quality. I bet they had great service too in getting their drugs under the current criminal system. Was there horror on their face when they thought about all the murders involved in those drugs that they consumed?

or revisit the penalties for getting caught with drugs.
We have done that many times. And the penalties kept going up. What you see now is the result. It's been amazingly successful, hasn't it?

Here in CA you get caught with a hard drug 3 times, it's 25 to life. It's been a great deterrent, hasn't it? Half our prison cells are occupied by non-violent druggies. At $A60K a year per.

ps mentioned the thought of legal drugs to a bunch of addicts last night.. Horror on their face.
At what? The crimes they had to commit to pay the illegality premium? Or the people that getting them to them?
